THE STORY OF
EIGER CLASSIC ALPINE
1950'S
J. Hanlin was a British Downhill ski champion. She won on borrowed skis in her 40's. Her love of outdoors and the mountains inspired us to create Eiger Classic Alpine.
We knew her as Granny.

"Sat in a mountain hut in Wengen, Switzerland after a morning’s skiing, it dawned on me. Against this classic alpine setting, I looked out of place, and so did everyone else.
Why were we wearing skin-tight technical base layers and garish ski jackets? One man stood apart; a grizzled old ski instructor, stood by himself, Gauloises cigarette hanging out of his mouth, he looked effortlessly cool. He wore a battered 1960’s woollen jumper.”

Inspired by Granny Hanlin's adventures, Eiger Classic Alpine was born with a desire to recreate the timeless elegance of the classic alpine age.
Natural materials, in the hands of craftsmen, creating timeless alpine products.
